Victims Compensation

“Over the past few months, we have worked together to identify measures we can take to ensure the solvency of the Crime Victims' Compensation Fund and the viability of funding for victim compensation and victim services.

Specifically, the OAG is working alongside more than 250 law enforcement agencies across the state in the 2012 Great Texas Warrant Round-Up.  During this round-up, each agency will be encouraging individuals to pay their outstanding courts fines and fees or face arrest by state and local authorities.  You may find additional information at: https://www.oag.state.tx.us/oagnews/release.php?id=3974

Our office is committed to ensuring that crime victims in our state have access to compensation and services, and we will continue to work with law enforcement agencies throughout the year on future round-ups and initiatives."
